Without a doubt, JLS status as the UK’s leading boy band is just as in tact today as it was when they first hit the scene four years ago.
Now it seems, following the critical boo boo that was ‘Jukebox‘, the band are eager to ensure album #4 wins them commercial success and critical acclaim alike.
Find out why they think working with Adele will help them do just that, below…
Speaking to Digital Spy, they confessed:
The album will be stripped back. There’s already been a few moments like that on our previous albums, but we want to take some of it back to our roots from when we first began. We love the way that Ed Sheeran performs on stage – it’s incredible.
We’d love to write with Adele as well. She’s an incredible songwriter, but recently she only seems to be credited for her albums sales. It’s only ever her and one producer and her in the studio. We’d love to set something up with her.
While we’re not sure how likely a collaboration with Adele would be, we are pleased that JLS seem to be taking things more seriously this time around.
Because, after listening to their charity single ‘Proud’ earlier this week, it’s clear that the boys do have the talent to pull off big power ballads and Top 40 dance numbers alike but have just struggled to find a balance between the two in previous years.
So, what do you think?
