Last year, the suicide of famed Lady Gaga fan Jamey Rodemeyer saw the star announce her desire to make bullying a criminal offence.
A victim of homophobic bullying, Rodemeyer’s life marked yet another story cut short by the hatred and bigotry GaGa aimed to douse with her LP ,‘Born This Way‘.
So imagine her shock when her naysayers took to Twitter yesterday, to launch the “#GagasCareerDiedWithJamey” trending topic to spite both she and Jamey.
Her response below…
You know, it’s really sad to see how cruel and mindless some people can be.
For, all star bashing aside, it takes a truly sick person to find humor in something as tragic as suicide, unfazed by how their words might affect those who knew Jamey personally.
Here’s to hoping Twitter launches some kind of investigation into this and outs these keyboard ninjas soonish.
