So in support of the release, the star took to ‘NE Video‘ to discuss its sound, her role on VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop‘, her unfortunate departure from Def Jam and her love for Big Sean.

Our only hope is that her material is backed by a well thought out promo campaign, which sees her reintroduced to mainstream audiences and endorse every cut on the record, not just a select few.
Because with talent and star quality as undeniable as hers, there is no reason she can’t be the Ashanti of this generation, an urban act with solid Pop appeal.
