People don’t like her because she is shady. Not only because she insulted Ciara and Beyonce. Keri seems to always find herself in controversy and she knows Beyonce stans are crazy so why does she even do some of that stuff.
She has good songs but she won’t make it cause she refuses to kiss Beyonce’s ass 24/7 which I respect her for that..not everyone likes Bey but her ignorant fans won’t accept that someone doesn’t feel like kissing up to Bey.

She’s a great songwriter and a good singer. Haven’t seen much of her live but it didn’t blow me away. However, I like that she doesn’t conform to what everyone else is doing just to sell records. It’s a shame, I’m not a massive fan of ‘Pretty Girl Rock’ but I always expected it chart higher. Same with her debut.
Her music is a slight bit better than Beyonce’s, but still very immature. Besides that Keri is narcissistic to the core! She’s not professional. Especially when it comes to respecting other females in the game, that paved the way for her. But at least she doesn’t hide it.

She took a huge risk by leaving the behind-the-scenes for the spotlight and she somewhat found her public. People don’t like her because clearly she has a problem with GOD*, and has been very expressive about that.
But even without that, she’s missing or she missed something. She had an “urban-lady” image when she started and all fell down with “the way you f-ck me”. Since then it has never be the same.
I’m a Bey fan and I love Keri’s audacity. I don’t know what went down between the two but I know for sure that no one makes it to the front row by being a nun. All the real divas display a bitchie side, but usually they keep it for their stage persona.

I don’t think she is unappreciated. I think she serves a purpose with her music. She is one of the few female R&B singers today who didn’t suffer the sophomore jinx with “No Boys Allowed.” That album achieved six figure sales in its first week and managed to produce a strong hit with “Pretty Girl Rock”. That’s commendable if you ask me. I think she’ll continue to find success with her future projects as well.

If I’m not mistaken, both Keri’s albums have gone gold. That was just based off of a Google, non-Wikipedia based search I just did. Along with that, she’s had singles go gold and platinum both and that is not including songs that she’s done for others.

I did a Youtube search on Keri Hilson and Ciara and I saw a video of the two of them sitting together talking about how there is no beef between them. i think she is very unappreciated… i like her music and although a lot of it is stuff you hear on the radio, most of it is her own sound something you would’nt hear with Beyonce or Ciara. I think she has the voice & talent and people are so main stream now a days that no one pays attention to that anymore. I will say this. Stans or no stans lets look at a few things. Overall Keri is not a very gracious person. She starts off writing for people and then suddenly feels insulted because she is either not getting her due or people are giving her the ‘respect’ that she is supposedly deserving of. She started her walk with negative vibes. She wrong songs for beyonce? Good, she was paid for that and to this day she really should have NO beef about it. To this day we don’t know WHAT the problem with her and Beyonce is. WHAT is the REAL issue? Did her man make a comment about Beyonce being cuter? Who knows. Yet Keri carries a very negative vibe about her, you can look at her and tell that she just isn’t genuine about how she approaches people. She isn’t. She has a real hate and won’t let it go. The best thing for her to do is understand that she needs to publicly come out and let this “Beyonce hatred” go. Until then she has a negative spell weighing on her that will keep her from growing to the level she wants in the industry. She has put things out to the universe that holds her back because of HER view on it. Keri has done this to herself. She said Beyonce needed to sit down and go have some babies. Well..she did that and when she did do that ..where was Keri? Did Keri take over? Did Keri have a HIT that swept the chart? Beyonce was out and is out now taking care of her business. The door was wide open for a “R&B chick” to step in and take her spot. Where was Keri Hilson then? I am not a “stan’. Let”s look at some things..

What other acts out there are crying about that? Come on, be a grown woman Keri and work, get true appreciation and stop worrying about who is appreciating you. That carries very bad spiritual energy, she actually in her heart feels that she has been wronged? By who? She was not shorted one dollar for what she did in her writing so what has she got to complain about? She decided to step out as a peformer, well, welcome to the reality of this Keri, some are hot and some are not and being upset about it won’t change that.
Indeed, much like her philanthropic endeavors, Hilson’s musical feats suffer a similar fate.
For example, how many of you knew that since debuting in 2008 she has racked up 9 Top Tens outside of the US, enjoying #1s in Germany and Slovakia with ‘I Like’ and scoring the same feat with ‘Knock You Down’ in New Zealand.
Then she should take her carcass over there and perform. If her managment and record company are supporting her in the right way then I am sure a world tour would be possible right? If they have the budget to support her then she should be on tour in the places where her music is popular. Most stars who are in america snub overseas and don’t see the power in that. They want to be number one in the US like there isn’t a world out there. If she can’t get over there to get that money that Europe is offering then who does she have to blame for that? She should be talking to the execs handling her career. If she has a UK appeal then MOVE there for a while and get close to those overseas fans. Then come back to the US. People fail to see the value in the european market.

Keri is also yes a ‘pretty’ woman but not a ‘beautiful” woman. Keri’s body languge if you watch her walk turns into watching a person who is not ‘natural’ with their actions. A woman who knows she is pretty or beautiful doesn’t have to constantly try to prove it on purpose to get attention. Keri doesn’t have that grace that she does have when walking or gesturing to show that she loves people around her. Watch her in interviews and watch her when doing anything on the red carpet. Her mind is constantly in turmoil about getting her due, she can’t let it go. This is not about hatred of her it is about the hatred she has inside. I don’t hate her, its hard to see somebody in that kind of pain all the time. You can’t throw a lot of salt in this business and expect to not get it back. You have to be careful who you pick fights with and while Beyonce fans do love her, its not the Beyonce fans holding Keri back.
Keri isn’t beautiful because of the un natural vibe she gives you when you look at her. She isn’t letting the true light of her heart shine. She’s mad, she’s bitter and she is even more bitter than her schemes have not worked. The beauty of a woman is shown in her smile, eyes, her poise and keri is very ‘stiff’. She also chooses hairstyles that don’t accenuate her face very well, this also robs her of the appearance she should have. And her frame being the shape that it is doesn’t accenuate her legs well. Overall, she doesn’t have that leg support that could add to the shape of her frame. Her calves are skinny and she chooses a lot of shoes that compromise her balance.
Keri should avoid shorts and pants, they take away from her form, she should sport more gowns and dresses that allow people to concentrate on her upper instead of her lower. Case in point ” if you don’t have the ‘booty’ then don’t try to show it off all the time and expect to get away with it simply because of who you are”.

Beyonce’s hair and shape blend in well with her personna. She smiles with a warmth that draws you in therefore bringing out her true…beauty.
Keri can’t have shows of men crawling all over her and then try to act like a role model for women and all that. There are mixed messages. Keri you want to be a role model for women then sing something that isn’t about yourself screaming that you are pretty. Don’t remind anyone , let them see for themselves.
