As Rap’s reigning Queen and Pop culture’s most exciting debutante, Nicki Minaj and her ‘worth’ as an artist has never been higher.
So high, the likes of MAC, Adidas and Pepsi have all enlisted the MC to front their respective campaigns, hoping to capitalize on her slow but sure ascent to ‘household name’ status.
Now peep behind the scenes footage from her recent ad with Pepsi by way The Insider. Footage, which sees her credit chart rival Beyonce as inspiration behind the deal.

On Knowles, Minaj confessed:
Out of the people that have done something with Pepsi, I think I was probably the most influenced by the Beyonce commercial because I felt like this is a young black girl, early on in her career and she’s doing something so iconic and I never thought in a billion years that Pepsi would reach out to someone like me.
Fans will also be pleased to know that this commercial is one of two projects Minaj has landed with the company.
Later on in the year, she is reportedly set to unveil her very own beverage named ‘Pop‘ under the Pepsi brand.
This, months after releasing her sophomore album ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded‘- set to hit the 1 million copies sold worldwide mark by the first week of July.
