It’s been all of four years since the underrated brillance that was ‘Human’ came (and sadly went). Given the ample buzz and creative freedom now afforded to her, Ms. Norwood looks poised to stage a resonating comeback.
‘Human’, themeatically was almost a necessity for her at the time given the drama preceding it. However, as evidenced by the feel-good/hard-hitting appeal of ‘Put It Down’, the 33 year old is ready to leave the past in the past and show why she deserves a place in the concrete jungle that is the music industry in 2012.
