Minutes ago, representatives for ‘Fortune’ singer Chris Brown released a statement, pertaining to his nightclub brawl with ‘Take Care‘ Rapper Drake in NYC.

The statement reads:
Brown, his model girlfriend Karrueche Tran and other friends “sustained several injuries.Chris and his party are cooperating with New York authorities who are pursuing this incident further.
Reports indicate that Drake- who is rumored to be involved with Chris’ ex girlfriend Rihanna- provoked the singer by ‘sticking his middle finger up at him and saying “Imma whoop that ass“, only to seek refuge in the club’s toilets when the situation got out of hand.
This marks the latest legal drama Brown has had to face this year. Back in February, the star was accused of snatching a young woman’s phone outside a Miami nightclub and driving away with it alongside Young Money star Tyga.
Three years prior, he successfully avoided serving a four year jail term for his brutal assault on the aforementioned Rihanna, who is yet to respond to last night’s debacle.
