Watch: Nicki Minaj Live At Philly Wired Fest

Published: Sunday 3rd Jun 2012 by David

After wowing fans overseas with the whimsical ‘Pink Friday’ Tour, Nicki Minaj returned to the US yesterday to perform at the Philly Wired Festival.

Performing a number of cuts from her debut LP and its follow up, Minaj-as you will see in the clip below-has certainly upped her performance game, since the mess that was her ‘American Idol’ stint.

    What is she wearing?

Nicki is no longer relevant. Her power in the game has decreased drasticly. The sophmore jinx is alive. Is that album even gold yet?nPrecisely.

      sigh,you will never change.

These performances are weak, same level as her American Idol performance
I’d suggest supporting musical acts who care enough about their fans to give 100% every time they perform live and record a record
Clearly..this does not exist with Nicki Minaj..

“Beez In The Trap” sounds dope live

The haters can die cause the #RomanNation is on high…
You have to be at a Nicki Minaj performance to get the vibe she gives off, it’s one thing for the cameras, but it’s another when your actually there!!
You guys should check the PFRR sales, I could’ve sworn it went gold in like 3 countries…IDK, maybe I’m blind
People are mad because -name shall not be mentioned- audience was never as happy and live as nicki’s because nicki is a performer period. She purposely didn’t add well anticipated tracks to he setlist because she would surprise her fans later with them, like Romans Revenge isnt on the main setlist…
I’m going to the L.A show of her 2012 Pink Friday tour and do far, it has been nothing but POSITIVE reviews…the only negative thing people worry about it the cut off of most of he hip hop tracks but that’s because a lot of them have features, like Moment 4 Life, Champion, I Am Your Leader, Romans Revenge, Beez in the Trap exc…but the show is live
    #FuckIsOnYoBiscuit?

The sad truth is that ebonix has a dictionary? WTH is described in the comment by Zolonski Trap. American English Please.

She has so much stage presence when she’s rapping, love she!

Oh poor people in denial. Her first album got a lot more buzz and appreciation than this new album is getting. I get this album must be strictly for the fans cuz PF:RR aint hitting hard in the market.

On another note, this performance was better than her other ones, but just like rihanna I don’t see her lasting very long in the game. People are tired of the gimmicks. Notice all the real talent is emerging. I think people are starting to wake up and smell what genuine musicianship and talent is. I actually use to be a fan of nicki but the little potential that she had she’s wasted on this white washed quick money making music. So good riddance!

It’s so sad how people are STILL saying that she’s about to be gone, and that her fifteen minutes of fame is up…and she’s STILL winning. LOL

Love her or hate her…and many will hate her…if companies still want to endorse her, if fashion designers still want her to wear their wacky labels, if her die-hard fans still believe in her…what’s gonna stop her?

Whoever said people are tired of gimmicks must not understand the entertainment industry. It’s about 80% gimmicks…and suckas…(ahem) bloggers, still feed into it…whether it’s a negative comment or a positive one.

She’ll find a way to stay relevant.

Is she actually rapping live? Didn’t look like it to me, not all the time, and she was very quiet at the beginning (or her tape was), could barely hear her…
