No one is checking for her. It was in the metro paper, that she has got dropped from RCA. I think it is true…….I mean, she has been on 2 labels and is selling less than ev ever. This is the uk – black women do not get second chances.

She will be announce being dropped in the next week.

I enjoyed it! I hope that this performance will boost her sales, because her album deserved to do better. It’s no timeless masterpiece, but it’s a solid pop album with great vocals, so it at least deserved a top 10 peak…I wish her luck.

It is too late. Her LP and song are not even in the top 100 in the UK. This is her second record deal . No one is checking for her. She will be dropped – as the metro paper reported on Friday, and that will be the end. She should go back to school and get a day job.

It is not too late, there have been singles and albums that have gone out of the charts only to return. Nothing is set in stone. The whole idea of a newspaper is to sell, they are not concerned with truth. Alexandra has not been dropped, it is unheard of for an artist to be dropped because of curcumstances not of their making.

If she had got 100% media hype for her singles and album and they had not done well then that is just cause, but that is not the case here. Failure is due to the majority of the UK public not actually getting to hear her new material.Even the biggest artists on the planet cannot surivive without media hype.

      • kelly July 1, 2012

You are in Denial. It is too late. She is black, and the UK music industry is no friend to black british women. She cannot get the hype, because RCA did not want to waste money on her. The UK public do not want to hear the music…. It is too late – unless she uses her own money.

Singers get dropped all the time – for whatever reason. If you do not sell, you get dropped – no matter what.

If she was an attractive white girl…..she would probably get another chance.

She will be dropped…you will see.

What songs go out and return? Only those who have died.

Atleast she can really sing live

Alexandra is such a s**** c***.. White people hate her. That white rapper, Example always disses her.

And yet, she coons after people who thinks she is an animal. Alexandra said Cheryl Cole has cut her off and refuses to take her calls….yet Alexandra wished Cheryl Cole happy birthday on Twitter. She is on Twitter calling Wayne Rooney the king of kings….that is blasphemy ! Wayne Rooney is not evn checking for her.

She coons for these folks in the UK and yet she is hated by them.

    • Beangelic1000 July 1, 2012

Stop being a racist, Alexandra’s fanbase are made up of mainly white people. It was a newspaper that reported about Cheryl and how they reported it was not what was actually stated, Alex was taken out of context and only a moron would believe anything that is reported in a newspaper as gospel. Alexandra is not the only artist who tweets about people she likes and Example was out of order with what he tweeted, Alexandra had a right to reply.

      • kelly July 1, 2012

Alexandra SAID in her won interview that Cheryl has cut her off. I am not being racist, so stop using the race card – I am stating the facts. Alexandra tweets happy Bday to Cheryl, but not to cheryl’s twitter…..why? Because Cheryl does not want anything to do with Alex.

AS for Example, he taunts Alexandra……because as a white NATIVE english man……he can! BTW Example is much bigger than Alex .

Please, what makes you think that those things makes you a c***!?
      Please.

I will be extremely disappointed if she gets dropped by her label, Alex is very talented she can sing so well and can dance alright and she is sweet as pie too, perhaps she could do with a style change, maybe drop the ponytail and get some shorter curly hair, with maybe a cute skirt, but not this jumpsuit s***, but like i said if she gets dropped she will be a prime example of the ruthlessness of the industry regardless if you have talent or not.

    • kelly July 1, 2012

Well, you may think that, but the UK public think she is not a great singer as she thinks; they think she is an arrogant diva; they think she is cocky; they think she is ugly ; they think she is a man in drag; they think she looks Like Sol Campbell and John Fashanu in a wig; they just do not liker.

They say she has an attitude problem and chip on her shoulder.

      • Beangelic1000 July 1, 2012

Note the word THNK, it is not a fact, the reality is Alexandra is a very nice person and no diva, and everything you have quoted above in your statement is actually true of a lot of artist in the UK and abroad, infact some of them not nice people to know, yet they still managed to get a positive media hype which results in lots of sales. Therefore, nothing you have stated is a valid reason, and where are you getting this chip on her shoulder from?

      • kelly July 1, 2012

The chip on your shoulder is used to any confident black woman – person!

LooK! She is accused of these things because she is black. That is the core reason. A black woman from the UK cannot be A LIST

  8. Benron July 1, 2012

Alexandra should of promoted her song “Sales On Hold” Instead!

  9. ASAP (As Sincere As Possible) July 1, 2012

I’m tired of people dissing Alexandra like her poor sales are a major event. Can you please star counting the UK artists of the past decade who slayed with their debut and flopped with their sophomore album or better yet never got to release a sophomore album?! Alexandra is not the exception, she’s a part of the rule. UK fans move on quickly and there are new artists, so the older ones are forgotten. But still Alexandra is talented and she can sing, so if she returns with a good plan, she’ll be fine.

  10. Benron July 1, 2012

To all the people fronting like she did more han 3 dance moves sit down, she is a good singer though, and cute, I just dont find her particularly intresting.

    • Virtuoso Intellect July 1, 2012

      Then eff off

  11. Beangelic1000 July 1, 2012

For those of you who keep stating Alexandra is a diva, give me an example of her being a diva?

For those of you who states she is cocky give me an example of her actually being cocky?

I don’t want you to tell me what you think she is, I want proof.

    • Crispas July 2, 2012

Alexandra is a great singer and entertainer..if you listen to the negative talk about anyone you will start to believe it..truth is she’s a confident 23yr. old whose enjoying her dream. I think people just want something to run there mouth about and it seems to be Alex. You can’t deny it when she gives a show she slays it ..look at how into the crow was at T4OTB.

  12. Jonathan Gardner July 1, 2012

I’ve been rooting for her ever since her very first X Factor audition.

Heartbreak on Hold is a solid pop release and is definately superior to its predecessor.

BETWEEN THE SHEETS needs to be the next single followed by FIRE or WHAT MONEY CAN’T BUY.

Between the Sheets is more of an Urban-pop/R&B mid-tempo and is probably the sound the public would receive better from her.

FIRE is a flaming dance record with SOARING, Whitney-esque vocals that could give her a summer smash.

What Money Can’t Buy – written by Alexandra herself – has HER BEST studio vocals. This song could have been written and sung by Alicia Keys.

I feel WHAT MONEY CAN’T BUY is a risk worth taking.
