As one of Pop’s more premium vocalists, Leona Lewis remains one artist whose vocals remain at the core of her SYCO fueled cause.
Now, before the release of her new studio effort ‘Glassheart‘, the X Factor gem has revealed she intends to Rap on the project.

Whatever Lewis chooses to do on ‘Heart’, here’s hoping she stays away from dance material and serves up a number of memorable mid tempos- akin to the cuts found on Sande’s ‘Our Version Of Events‘.

Talk about jumping the gun. Girl was joking. Jeez! We know this album is gonna slaaay
im going to take peoples word on this and say she was joking, because ms. lewis knows better than that!!!! she should of known better than to release collide but she learned and now we should expect an urban r&b, most likely she will still have some sort of dance music but hopefuly she will keep it to a minimum.
I was sort of hoping she would embrace the dance sound a little bit more. If she does an album full of mid-tempo’s I think it might end up like “Echo.” Critics and fans all criticized the album for being too boring. “Collide” was a hot record; it was just released at a bad time. Rihanna’s “We Found Love” was dominating the charts all over the world and had a similiar sound. I hope Leona does what Alexandra Burke did on “Hearbreak on Hold” and gives us up-tempo’s with a positive messgae. I love dance songs sung by a singer who can actually SING. It gives the song so much more power…especially during live performances. Whatever she chooses to do, I wish her success. There is no denying that voice. I remember when “Bleeding Love” came out everyone was billing her as the next Mariah.
If you will check her song, Nowhere Left to Go feat Cassidy which is one of her leaks, she has tried rapping things up which is cute

She is NOT now or ever has been boring you just don’t understand her she is by far the best vocalist out there she can sing anyone under the table she is a phenomenal singer and deserves more credit than she gets. Can’t people take a joke; Leona was obviously having one with her fans on a Ustream! People shouldn’t believe everything they read. Her album however, is something to look out for, October is not far of now – Good luck to the lady!
