Hot Shot: Beyonce Visits United Nations Assembly Hall

Published: Friday 10th Aug 2012 by Sam

Budding icon Beyonce continues to build her brand outside of music after being named Ambassador for World Humanitarian Day 2012.

The singer, who today shoots a video for the cause (using her much loved hit ‘I Was Here’), took time out to visit the United Nations General Assembly Hall yesterday. There she met with General Secretary Ban Ki Moon, discussing her role as well as how to advance their collective cause.

One can’t but salute Beyonce’s movement. Be it from a musical, performance, or charitable angle, she is the blueprint of how to build a superstar – one generations to come can be proud of and emulate. More power to her!
