Her team may be horrible at handling her singles, but there’s no doubt Nicki Minaj is one of Pop’s strongest competitors when it comes to pushing albums.
For, after watching it surpass sales of 1 million copies worldwide in the space of five months, the Rapper is reportedly reading the reworked version of her record breaking LP ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded‘.
Details below…
In a report by Hits Daily Double, the following was revealed:
Pink Friday Roman Reloaded is skedded for re-release 11/21.
Clearly hoping to push US sales of the project by way of the annual ‘Black Friday‘ sales, the Pepsi front woman is also reported to have teamed up with touring buddy Misha B on a revamped version of her dance anthem ‘Automatic’, named ‘Automatic (Reloaded)’. This however, is yet to be confirmed.
With a number of smash hit singles just waiting to be pulled from the existing album, let’s hope Team Minaj focus their efforts on pushing one cut at a time- and do away with their strategy of releasing as many videos as possible.
For, though it isn’t always obvious, ‘Reloaded’ has spawned five videos since April and none of them have taken their respective numbers to the top of any charts.
Like, it’s not as though Minaj is short on the talent, creativity or finances to deliver videos just as fantastical as her set at the 2012 Grammy Awards ceremony.
A ceremony, which served theatrics we hope this re-release delivers in abundance on all tips, and put her on track to snatch Rihanna‘s title as this generation’s singles Queen.
