In a new interview with South Africa’s Sunday Times, the fashionista reveals that her new single is titled ‘Losing You’ and that its accompanying video will be shot in Cape Town this week.
Ever “out of the box”, the mother of one says the clip will be shot “documentary style” and will premiere globally next month.
Of the song itself, the singer characterises it as “eclectic with ’80s references and African percussion influences”. Its housing album prominently features British producer Dev Hynes, who is most notable for his work with Florence & the Machine and The Chemical Brothers. {Source}

Finally! It’s been entirely too long. The youngest of the Knowles clan had us worried that the poor performance of her epic sophomore set had deterred her dreams of stardom in her own right. Thankfully it hasn’t.
We just need to it to serve up a similar flavour of fierce to this…
…and we’re “sold”.
What’s more, she plays in a “niche” lane; a fact which in itself ensures commercial performance is less of an issue. A strong body of work and a dedicated fanbase (for an act such as Solange) allows for touring, which allows for $$$, which ultimately allows for longevity.
