Watch: Lil Kim Soars At ‘Opening Ceremony’ Gig

Published: Monday 10th Sep 2012 by David

Say what you will about her business acumen, but there’s no denying Lil Kim‘s value as a live act.

Oft lost in the haze of controversy she oft endures, the Rapper’s skill as an entertainer is just as in tact today as it was when she wowed back in ’96 with this performance.

Now check out her performing for the crowd at ‘Opening Ceremony‘s 10th anniversary party, soaring with a number of her Hip Hop classics.

Nice!

Working the crowd without the gimmicks many of today’s stars depend on, it’s hard not to be impressed by this performance.

For, as far as stamina and charisma goes- Ms. Jones gave it up in abundance, breathing new life into  classics that still feel just as good today as they did “back then”.

Here’s hoping Kim’s recent absence from the public eye is down to her plotting the comeback we’ve all been waiting for since 2010. A comeback, we hope brings material as strong as ‘If You Love Me’ and far more business savvy Kim.

For if Rick Ross– who was once the receiving many a 50 Cent punchline- can revitalize his career and enjoy countless smashes and a few #1s, we can’t see why ‘The Queen B’ can’t do the same.
