With 13 million albums sold in the US alone, four Box Office #1s, and 9 US #1 singles scored since her 1997 debut, it’s safe to say anything Beyonce touches turns to gold…or triple platinum.
However, a Ms. Erika Pena learned the true power of Brand Beyonce this month when earrings she designed in support of 2012 Presidential candidate Barack Obama were worn by the singer on a night out with husband Jay Z.

On October 20th, Knowles took to dinner in NYC’s Tribeca sporting the above hand made earrings, of which only five were available…at the time.
However, once snaps of her date hit the net, Ms. Pena- a jewelry designer- received an influx of orders requesting the accessory, which come in support of Obama’s second bid for the White House this November.
As it stands- just one week after Knowles wore them- Pena has sold 1,300 pairs at a price of $32.
Speaking exclusively to TMZ, she revealed she has received orders from across the globe and if our math is accurate, has generated $41,600 in a single week because of the singer’s support.
