The stirring midtempo was produced by Craigie Dodds and, in echoing Ms. Lewis’ statements above, seems a solid pick for the UK market in the run-up to the Holiday season. For, as most British based readers will know, the territory leans heavily towards ballads at this time of the year.
That said, the album boasts better in the way of tracks such as ‘Favourite Scar’ and the sublime ‘Shake You Up’. Here’s hoping either are awarded the single treatment at some point.
