Brandy is making a beeline for the the Billboard 200 next week. The singer’s ‘Two Eleven’ LP was released this week to much critical acclaim.
Now, with a day’s sales under its belt, the first projections for the set have been released. And it looks like Ms. Norwood is on course for a high placing on the tally.

Granted some sects have been anticipating more, there are a number of facets to consider; the most prominent being that it’s an R&B album in 2012 (hence is impressive given the context) and that she has many a promotional stop left to go before the week’s end. These include Good Morning America, Wendy Williams, Bravo’s Watch What Happens Next, and more. So, there’s every chance – as seen with Pink last month – for the estimates to be revised higher.
And in the event they don’t, hey slow and steady wins the race, right? Given the nature and genre of the album, Gold is a reasonable goal-post, one Brandy could and should reach should the promotional push remain consistent over the next few weeks and months.
