Brit-Pop belles Girls Aloud are back with pulsating new single, aptly ‘Something New’.
The lead release from Cheryl Cole and co’s latest greatest hits collection, ‘Ten’ (due November 26th), the track saw its accompanying video debut moments ago.

While simple and understated, the visual still scorches. It’s hot!
It goes without saying that the group never have and never will be the industry’s best performers. Indeed, in some their cases, they can be down right terrible. However, each of the ladies served up ample “fierce” here, visually capturing the gloriously over-the-top nature of the song. From the collective to the the individual glamour shots, each scene served up diva aplenty. Easily, easily, easily one of their best videos yet.
With Cheryl’s solo steam evaporating and the rest of the girls hype being non-existant (although Nadine, on merit of her talent, deserved much more) we can’t but feel that these Girls have another solid run in them. Hype and money talk, hence regardless of Cheryl’s recent claims that this will be GA’s curtain call, the fact their comeback is generating 75% more interest than any of her own projects, could see label execs disagree. Needless to say, it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.
‘Something New’ hits iTunes on November 18th.
