Before the visual for her new single ‘Va Va Voom‘ drops tonight, Nicki Minaj stopped by in Manchester, England on the 22nd to deliver the ‘Pink Friday: Reloaded’ arena tour.
Performing cuts from both of her studio albums, it was the Rapper’s delivery of her 2010 number ‘Save Me‘ that we’re shining a light on today, serving the vocals and conviction many had argued her cause was lacking.

Though ‘Va Va Voom’ and ‘Super Bass’ may score her points on a chart tip, it’s performances like the above that the world need to see more of- especially with the launch of ‘The Re-Up‘ and ‘American Idol’ drawing near.
For as it stands, Minaj’s talent has found itself playing second fiddle to her personality, aesthetic and chart feats, thus confusing those unaware of her strength as a live vocalist.
Here’s hoping she uses ‘Idol’s platform to showcase this when it hits US screens January 16th, 2013.
