Ludacris may be blazing up Urban radio with Winter sizzler ‘Representin'(ft. Kelly Rowland)’, yet that doesn’t mean the Disturbing The Peace hitmaker hasn’t got plans for the Pop arena.
The rapper /actor has called on Usher and David Guetta for Urban-Dance number ‘Rest Of My Life’, which serves as the first mainstream offering from his new album ‘Ludaversal’ (due early next year).
Having already collaborated with Usher on 2004 mega-hits ‘Yeah’ and ‘Lovers & Friends’, it’s the involvement of Guetta which makes for the most intriguing read on paper.
Does the union deliver on song, though? The answer awaits after the jump…
While the “generic Dance thing” is oh so played out, Luda still scores points here. For, the flavoursome and character-filled delivery of his bars cannot be diluted nor denied.
The cut is unlikely to garner many spins here at TGJ HQ, but we can see how it will on Pop radio. Winning?
