9 days may separate Rihanna‘s new album ‘Unapologetic‘ from her fan base ‘The Navy‘, but that hasn’t stopped them from supporting the release on a digital front.
Find out how why the singer may be on her way to scoring her first US #1 album below…
Less than a week after being made available to pre-order, the LP has already the iTunes Top Ten- currently sitting pretty at #7 while its lead single ‘Diamonds’ resides at #3.
Set to rise with the singer’s forthcoming appearance on NBC’s ‘Saturday Night Live’, the project- if current sales are anything to go by- is likely to score a Top 5 on the Billboard 200 upon its official release and, if outselling releases by Nicki Minaj, Keyshia Cole, will see her land her first US #1 album.
However, with ACDC‘s ‘Live At River Plate’ set to drop on the 2oth, the ‘No Love Allowed‘ singer has serious competition on her hands.
For, with their last LP ‘Black Ice‘ debuting with sales of 784,00o in its first week, it seems more than likely it is they and not Rihanna, who will dominate the chart come November 28th.
