Though all should be commended for their efforts this year, ‘extra’ kudos should go to Beyonce for landing as many Top Ten spots as she did despite the fact that her last album ‘4’ was released last year.
As well as this, we tip our hats to Ms. Nicki Minaj whose success on many a tally will come as a surprise to any who had written her sophomore effort ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ off as a commercial failure, despite current US sales edging closer to the 1 million mark less than a year after release.
