After what seems like an eternity, January 16th 2013 marks the arrival of the new and improved ‘American Idol‘, starring dated diva Mariah Carey and ‘Masquerade‘ Rapper Nicki Minaj.
So last night, in hopes of cranking up excitement for the show, the ladies joined their fellow judges for a day or promo- which saw select media invited to quiz all involved on what can be expected come the new year.
Now watch what happens when Mariah and Nicki find themselves forced to answer questions on each other, resulting in what we’d call hilarious viewing.

Though we are looking forward to the inevitable feuding, here’s hoping all that is overshadowed by this year’s talent. In saying that, we’re sure you’ll agree that the main incentive to tune in next year will be to see the HQ footage pulled from their explosive blow out earlier this year.
