In case her stint at ‘Superbowl 2013′ and recording contract esque deal with ‘Pepsi‘ didn’t say it loud enough, Beyonce is not playing with promo package for her new LP.
Perhaps hoping to recreate the effect 2003’s ‘Dangerously In Love‘ had on Pop Culture, Camp B have gone one step further to ensure the release is force fed to the masses upon release, reports indicate that she has signed onto to cover Anna Wintour‘s ‘Vogue‘ next March.
The NY Daily News shares:
“Confidenti@l has learned that Beyoncé will grace the March cover of Vogue. According to our sources, famed photog Annie Leibovitz did the shoot last week.
It’s going to be quite a 2013 for Bey. In addition to performing for Super Bowl XLVII’s halftime show in early February, she plans to release a new album, which features collaborations with The-Dream, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo and her hubby, Jay-Z.”
Yes!
Think of this way, if ‘4’ now sits pretty with sales of over 2 million worldwide, who knows what numbers lie in wait for The King if armed with material built for radio, her ‘Superbowl’ exposure…and this cover- which will no doubt be afforded a promo campaign of its own.
Of course, while nobody’s expecting Adele numbers, there’s no doubt that B could easily have the Billboard 200 at her feet if these plans score the desired effect, and will be used as the launching pad for her grandest tour to date. A tour, that both accommodates her priority as a mother and her status as a Pop force.
A one city/one date stadium outing? Let’s hope so!
