For fans of Pop icon Britney Spears, 2013 is shaping up to be all flavors of epic.
Readying the release of her eight studio album and her second season on FOX’s ‘X Factor USA‘, the ‘Kiss You All Over‘ singer has already kicked off the year on a winning streak.
A streak, which has seen her block Pop sensation Rihanna from nabbing a new UK #1 single.
Details below…
By way of her Will.i.am fronted ‘Scream & Shout‘, Spears sits atop the UK’s R&B singles chart- snatching the top spot away from Rihanna’s stunning ‘Stay’ which resides at #2, while it’s predecessor ‘Diamonds’ holds court at #3.
Sharing a mutual collaborator in ‘Everything‘ singer/songwriter Elijah Blake, the Pop belles dominate the the Top 3 while Alicia Keys‘ ‘Girl On Fire’ comes in at #5 and Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Va Va Voom‘ spends it 18th week on the chart at #12.
All this, as Kanye West‘s ‘Clique’ backflips seven spots up to #9, 17 weeks after its British launch.
