She’s usually the Queen of all thing glitz and glam. However, last night saw Pop diva Mariah Carey sport a quieter look at ‘American Idol‘s Season 12 premiere- whipping up momentum for the televised talent contest.

Arriving at the event for a spot of promo with her co-stars, Mariah opened up on the forthcoming season with press, six days before it hits FOX and welcomes what many hope will be the next generation of leading musicians.
