Nicole Scherzinger‘s somewhat awaited solo return was official signalled this morning upon the premiere of her new single ‘Boomerang’.

While this may satisfy certain sects of Europe, one has to wonder if this packs any appeal for a larger global audience. For, it’s all a bit “Diet”, when the reality is that Nicole is in dire need of something more fleshy to satisfy the masses. Namely an undeniable smash.
How or why, with such world-class talent (and producer resources), she’s still serving up these Toys R’Us keyboard tunes is all sorts of baffling.
Still, color us crazy, but this actually has us eager to hear what else she’s been working on. For, as with her last outing, she usually gets it “right” at some point during her project’s lengthy life-cycle (see: ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’, ‘Wet’, and ‘Right There’).
