Whether Mariah Carey loyalists would like to admit or not, it’s easy to see just which of this year’s ‘American Idol‘ judges FOX believe will bring in ‘the numbers’ this season…and it isn’t her.

Indeed, perhaps in realizing the full reach and potential of her brand’s stock, the network have enlisted Nicki Minaj to do most- if not all- of the show’s promo this week, kicking off with a stint on ‘Leno‘ last night and ‘Ellen’ this morning.

Now watch as the ‘Masquerade‘ MC opens up like never before with the latter, dishing on the show’s long hours and more interestingly- tease reports of a rumored new boyfriend.
