After delivering impressive ratings with the two-night premiere of their E! reality show Chasing The Saturdays, Brit-Pop belle’s The Saturdays aren’t resting on their laurels just yet.
The ladies are still hot on the promotional trail, this week stopping by ‘The Jeff Probst Show’ to perform an acoustic version of the first Stateside single ‘What About Us’.
How did they fare? The answer awaits after the jump…
Somewhat solid. Vanessa‘s formerly faultless vocals are still cause for concern, though, and she is consistently sounding close to the edge. Still, decent collective showing. Rochelle sounded sublime.
They sounded good but they can do better … Is it the nerves?
i think it is because they are getting better with every live performance, Vanessa could not hit her notes in their last two performances and she does it well here. They also did really good at their new york concert. You can find it on your tube. Also i think the song itself does not really show of their vocals because they sound the same as the song.
Take any 4 or 5 girls off the street, make them sing together at the same time and they wont sound any worse.
I kinda agree, they were okay. Yes Vanessa, Rochelle and Una can sing but its nothing amazing, just good for a girl group, they would actually be better if the ditched the two non singers or just broke up and be three solo singers. Vanessa’s vocals are suffering due to carrying the group all these years, it’s only recently that Rochelle seems more confident in her vocals
really enjoyed it actually
Amazing!!! I wish they did more acoustic performances, instead of stupid dance moves/sloppy vocals 😀
best vocal performance from them ever… they should sing more adult contemporary/ soft rock stuff rather than this pop b*******. it suits there voice better.
The black(ish) chick Rochelle >>>>> DOPE!!!
Rochelle >>>>>>>>>> ! Love her & Vanessa !
Loved it
vanessa has gotten a lot better because she was way worst when they were on tour in una had to sing ego for her in 211.
This is way better than The original, they should release the acoustic version
