…as if Beyonce didn’t have enough to celebrate this month.
After wowing the world with her Super Bowl 2013 Half Time Set two weeks ago, the ‘Start Over’ singer has given the folks over at HBO much to smile about this week, following the airing of her critically acclaimed ‘Life Is But A Dream’ documentary.
Details below…
With a record breaking 1.8 million viewers to its name, ‘Dream’ marked the network’s highest viewed outing since Spike Lee‘s 2006 effort, ‘When The Leeves Broke’.
Used as the latest promotional push for her fifth studio album, the moving documentary’s success will come as phenomenal news for the network, who haven’t enjoyed ratings this high since Nielsen altered its method for measuring for views in 2004.
Airing at 9pm, the documentary’s ratings win saw it bring three times more viewers than first runs of the network’s original series, ‘Girls’ and marks the latest record to be broken by the entertainer, who can now boast of having 17 Grammy awards to her name.
