Well, it looks like the cast is complete!

Just days after the announcement that ‘Lip Gloss’ rapstress Lil’ Mama was set to shine in the role of Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes and actress/singer Drew Sidora is to portray T-Boz in a forthcoming TLC biopic, now reports have surfaced that actress/singer Keke Palmer has been cast as Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas….

Via VIBE:

“Keke Palmer has been cast as Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas in VH1’s upcoming TLC biopic. She joins both Lil Mama, who will play Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Drew Sidora, who has been cast as Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, in the made-for-TV film.

The VH1 TLC biopic begins filming in Atlanta, GA next month.”

  2. LIKEDBYMANY February 17, 2013

Yes I think this was a good choice,

But as for Drew Sidora playing T-boz NO WAY!

    Keri Hilson should play T-boz

      STFU B****

  4. RG2 February 17, 2013

Congratz Keke, do Chili and TLC justice. NOW I’M CURIOUS ABOUT WHO’S GONNA PLAY T-BOZ.

  5. king z February 17, 2013

umm…it says DREW SIDORA is supposed to be t-boz. i dont see the resemblence but…ok if they say so

  6. mob February 17, 2013

I’m not sure if I want to see a bio-pic of TLC but Lil Mama as Left Eye and Keke Palmer as Chilli are EXCELLENT CHOICES IMO! Now who is Drew whats her name? 0_o

  7. RG2 February 17, 2013

DREW SIDORA AS T-BOZ…….NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, THERE IS NO RESEMBLENCE WHAT SO EVER. HONESTLY I’D RATHER HAVE KERI HILSON; I THOUGHT KERI DID A GOOD JOB POTRAYING T-BOZ IN HER PGR VIDEO WHEN SHE PAYED HOMAGE TO TLC’S “CREEP”.

Keke is a good choice…lil mama I’m still kinda iffy about. I don’t know who drew is but whoever she is, she better slay that role. Just to make this clear though: Chili and Left eye were definitely prettier than these girls that are playing them so their acting skills better outweigh the bad. I never found T Boz that attractive tho….

I definitely think Keri Hilson would have been a great casting choice as T-Boz. I wonder will the actresses be doing their own singing/rapping in the film or will they be lip-synching to TLC’s original records. Also I hope with the film that it is more than just a reenactment of the VH1 Behind the Music special and gives us something new that we don’t already now. Do you guys think the film will touch upon Chili’s relationships with Usher and Dallas Austin and if so who do you think can play them?

The people sayin Keri Hilson, or any other celebrity over 25 needs to have a seat. I agree with the casting. Keke has a Chilli essence, and Lil Mama (whether you like her or not) embodies Left Eye to a certain extent. TLC was in their prime at their late teens/ early 20’s. So to choose YOUNG girls is good on their end.

  11. TLC should be played by unknown actresses like they originally promised February 17, 2013

Sorry but I can’t believe they went back on their word…..chilli had confirmed that “unknowns”would portray TLC on Wendy Williams not too long ago…..And to me they have completely screwed the formula up.

  12. eric February 17, 2013

I’m not sure Lil Mama and Keke look right together. They’re 10 years apart. Lisa and Chilli were the same age and looked like it.

  13. PSA (FAF) February 17, 2013

i love keke not sure if she has chilli’s southern charm & unpredictable charisma & characteristics, though….

  14. NOBITCHASSNESS February 17, 2013

KEKE IS THEIR ONLY CHOICE I LOVE.

I DON’T MIND LIL MAMA, BUT I’M STILL UNSURE ABOUT DREW SIDORA AS T-BOZ.

  15. Angelica February 17, 2013

I remember they said they didn’t want famous people to play them..?

  16. Teacher February 17, 2013

I can’t stand Chiili…ol b****! and Tboz triiied it once upon a time too!

  17. Dev February 18, 2013

I’m sure Chilli was on Wendy Williams or somewhere saying that they were casting unknowns!? Well, i know all of them even if it is some more than others

  18. MISHKA February 18, 2013

Good to see Drew Sidora is still around.

But I think Keke and Drew are too tall for the roles. Keke should refrain from biopic roles until she gets called for Angela Basset’s biopic.

Drew Sidora as T-Boz though… Keyshia Cole is by far a better choice, despite her trash-talking mouth.

  19. badgirl February 18, 2013

For those saying Keri Hilson although she looks good with the blonde and her hair has that T-BoZ feel she’s way to tall and her voice is too light. Oh and I don’t think age matters when playing them, TLC were like 20,21 when they’re first record came out, they just looked younger because of their style of dress.

And I hope and pray that they will be using TLC’s original vocals because I can’t see them re-doing that. It just wouldn’t sound right.

  20. arfa February 18, 2013

IM HERE FOR THIS MOVIE AND THEY DID CHOOSE NOBODY’S “I DON’T KNOW THESE GIRLS”

  21. the real xoxo February 18, 2013

Lil mama is only 23, not that old!

  22. joy February 18, 2013

They should have used Teyana Taylor to play left eye’s role and keri hilson for T-Boz role. Keke palmer is perfect for chilli’s role.

None of these women do not look like tlc and they are not pretty
