Rihanna has unwrapped the long overdue video for ‘Stay’ – the second single to be lifted from her sixth studio album ‘Unapologetic’.

Sure, while we were initially confused by its lack of theme or variation, Fenty’s ‘isms’ in the clip capture and convey the emotion she served on the song itself, making for her most convincing performance to date.
Of course, while the US sales of ‘Unapologetic’ could have done with a stylized romantic piece akin to Roxette‘s ‘Spending My Time‘, the emptiness of ‘Stay’s video said more than any mini-movie piece could of.
A feat, made possible by the genius of its director and whoever insisted Rih pick up acting classes….because they paid off.
