Indeed, it was her 2000 debut ‘Can’t Take Me Home’ that propelled the singer to stardom, creating the way for her mainstream mega-seller ‘M!ssundaztood’ the year after.
Thirteen years and thirty hits later, the singer gave a nod to her Urban humblings with an R&B medley at the Los Angeles stop of her ‘Truth About Love Tour’ last night.

Given the length and breadth of success Pink has had with songs of the Popier and Rockier persuasions, we’ve long given up hope of ever receiving another Urban album . It’s a reality that we’ve also made peace with given the embedded soulfulness in her voice (whatever she’s singing).
That said, her general ignoring of that window of time (a window that was the first peek many had into who she was) always irked us somewhat. Hence, it’s great to see her embracing it and celebrating it for what is was – the genesis of an amazing and qualitative career.
