In at #1, Bruno Mars’ ‘When I Was Your Man’ dethrones Justin Timberlake‘s smash hit ‘Mirrors’ with 4,822 spins in the last week and a sweet 84.35 million impressions.
Beating the ‘Suit & Tie’ Prince by 166 spins, Mars’ ascent to the top also saw him surpass plays nabbed by Olly Murs’ ‘Army Of Two’ and his very own ‘Locked Out Of Heaven‘ which closes the Top 5 with 3,655 spins in the last seven days.
Elsewhere, Brit Pop hero MNEK continues to soar up the chart by way of the Duke Dumont led cut ‘Need U’ which also features ‘Find A Boy‘ singer AME. Rising five spots up since last week, the jam now sits pretty with 1,129 spins and an audience of 33.23 million.
This, marking the latest piece of good news for the singer/songwriter responsible for Misha B‘s R&B #2 single ‘Home Run’ and The Wanted‘s ‘Ill Be Your Strength’.
Four spots above ‘Need U’ sees Rihanna‘s ‘Stay‘ occupy #8 with 38.85 million impressions,while her Urban jam ‘Pour It Up’ edges nearer the 1 million sold mark in the US with combined sales of 753,301 in the US.
