Not in a long while have we seen an independent project serve up solid material and visuals Eve has with ‘Lip Lock’. Indeed, with both ‘She Bad Bad’ and ‘Town’, the self-professed Pitbull In A Skirt posits a brand and strand of music and videos that could plausibly work in a mainstream context.
Should she pair her solid output with a medium able to re-introduce her to radio (and make no mistake, she -like all artists- still needs radio), she could once again make a mark in an arena monopolized by the success of a certain Ms. Minaj.
