Finally!
While this may be hard to believe, we’ve finally found a performance pulled from Rihanna‘s first ‘Diamonds‘ outing that sees her deliver a decent vocal.
Channeling her inner Islander, the Grammy winning belle took the grand stage to perform the Elijah Blake penned jam ‘No Love Allowed’, packing the power and conviction other performances from the show lacked.

Though she’s no Rita Ora, Rihanna‘s voice does pack a mean punch when at its best.
Perhaps, as is the case with most limited entertainers, her pipes can only truly shine when there is enough ‘room’ in each line of a song to do so- hence her stellar servings of ‘Stay‘ and ‘Diamonds‘ but unfortunate showings of ‘Where Have You Been‘ and ‘We Found Love’.
Maybe, to ensure her live vocals are just as good as those in the studio, Riri should stick to her lower register (F3,F#3 and G3) and leave the higher notes to those who can actually hit them without sounding like a chorus of constipated kittens.
Like so.
