If the response to its lead single ‘Started From The Bottom’ is anything to go by, Drake is definitely onto a winner with his forthcoming album ‘Nothing Was The Same‘.
However, in case there was any doubt his team over Cash Money weren’t as excited about it as the rest of the world his, the group’s backbone Mack Maine made his way over to ‘MTV News’ to share his thoughts on what he’s heard so far.
His estimation below!
“The worst thing you can do is get that dude mad because he creates music from his heart and off emotion too. So when you get him mad … You saw what happened with the “5 AM in Toronto,” and it’s more to follow. That dude is amazing, awesome.”
We believe him.
What’s exciting about Drake is that he’s an act who truly aims to carve out a unique sound for every project, which is why ‘Bottom’ came as a pleasant surprise when it dropped…considering it sounds nothing like jams pulled from ‘Later‘ or ‘Care‘.
Let’s hope ‘Same’ lives up to the hype!
