Already a staple on American Idol, the premium diva looks set to cash in on the exposure. For, it has been announced that she will be kicking off Good Morning America’s annual Summer Concert Series next month!

With speculation that a new single is due imminently, the slot essentially confirms it. And with the Idol finale taking place on May 16th, we imagine new Mimi will be rolled out beforehand in time for a performance there too.

Hopefully the new album will have full label support with the RIGHT singles released, unlike that mess of a project MOAIA. A great album, but was not promoted correctly and the single choices were a mess.
