I was literally at a loss for words watching this. This performance literally had me balling in tears, like literally. Fantasia has always bee on of my favorite artists and this proves why. She is THE BEST Idol winner and contestant that the show has ever seen and that’s not opinion but FACT. Yea other Idol graduates have won all these awards and sold all of these records, but when not one of them has the artistry, soul and raw vocal talent a Fantasia Barrino. I seriously have never heard or felt a performance like that from anyone since Whitney’s. Even if this album doesn’t sell like it should, I believe this really Fantasia’s moment and she has truly arrived as one of the industries legendary voices.

And for that, she WILL be a legend. No, she won’t sell 25 million copies of one album like Adele, she won’t get every cover like Rihanna, she won’t sell out in 5 minutes like Beyonce, she won’t win an Oscar like J. Hudson….but she will be mentioned amongst the GREATS 15-20 years from now. MARK. MY. WORDS. Speechless.

That was an amazing performance. I hope that this year’s contestants took note of how she built the song up, sold the emotion, and interacted with the audience and her backup musicians and singers. That’s how you put personality into a song, and make people Feel a song’s meaning…… Oh mercy, Fantasia was fantastic. She looked gorgeous and sounded great. She’s my absolute favorite female Idol and still killing it on stage. I still can’t believe how great she looked. The dress was perfect, her hair and makeup was the flawless, I am so proud of her. Simply amazing. Wow I forgot how truy talented she is. That was raw, emotional and had me in tears. I absolutely loved when in the middle of the song she said, “this i my favorite verse” and continued to slay as if it was routine. Why isn’t this single on itunes yet?
