I dont think the second single is going to be coming soon. To be honest I think her label expected her to be successful like Victoria or Miranda Cosgrove. That would explain the late promo for The Way. And of course she’s filming Sam & Cat. But they probably didn’t realize she has such a fan following so I think they’re going to milk The Way as much as they can before they put out something new. After all it did just reach its highest peak on Billboard Thursday.

Another job well done. I’d like to see her perform it on t.v without Mac Miller though. I find his entering and exiting to be awkward. With this song now certified platinum and moved up to #9 on the Hot 100, its new peak, I’d say Ariana is on the right track.
I actually like the performances with Mac. Is rare you see singers and rappers perform their song together outside of award shows.
