The BET Awards 2013 just injected with a delightful dose of girl power.
For, a bevy of music’s biggest names have been confirmed to perform at the June 30th extravaganza.

Moments ago, Nicki Minaj, Ciara, and diva Mariah Carey were unveiled as the latest talent to grace the stage at this year’s show. The formidable trio join Urban chart royalty R. Kelly, Chris Brown, and Kendrick Lamar on the line-up of stage blazer’s on Black music’s biggest calendar night.
In each lady’s case, the slot serves as a major boost to their respective projects; Ciara’s self-titled album arrives shortly after the show on July 9th, while Mimi’s ‘The Art Of Letting Go’ hits stores on July 23rd. Ms. Minaj clearly isn’t letting her lack of new album halt her media visibility, hence the show certainly assists her “I’m not leaving the limelight” motive.
Needless to say, we can’t wait!
