All roads lead to Independence Day for Jay-Z.
The rapper and Roc Nation mogul is re-branding the meaning of the iconic July 4th date with the release of his new album ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’.
A subject of major debate, the surprise project has attracted both praise and critique for its unique roll-out, which sees Samsung foot the bill for 1 million copies of the LP – giving it away “free” as part of a new app for users of its phones.
It’s easy to see, then, why amidst the hoopla the fact one of Hip-Hop’s biggest titans is actually releasing new material (and in a matter of weeks too) is being somewhat overlooked.
As such, in a bid to re-position the focus on the music (and whip up more conversation), Jigga has unwrapped the official tracklist for the LP. What are you waiting for? Check it out after the jump…
