Justin Timberlake Unwraps ‘Tunnel Vision’ Single Cover

Published: Monday 10th Jun 2013 by Sam

September may bring with it part 2 of Justin Timberlake‘s LP series ‘The 20/20 Experience’, yet the Pop maestro isn’t wrapping up its predecessor’s campaign just yet.

The Timbaland produced ‘Tunnel Vision’ has been selected as the project’s third (and likely last) single. Peep its official artwork above.

In tandem with the song’s roll-out, the 32-year-old will embark on a sell-out global trek with Jay-Z  christened the ‘Legends Of The Summer Tour’. Thereafter, he will commence touring solo in October  support of part 2’s arrival on September 30th.

************

Granted we find the cut rather “blah” and would have much preferred ‘Let The Groove In’ as receiver of the single treatment, anything JT seems to touch these days turns to Gold. Or should we say Platinum. Double Platinum, if we’re speaking factually. Put simply, at this point, he could record himself in the bathroom for three minutes and it’d likely hit top ten. Quite the position to be in. More power to him.

Take a listen to ‘Tunnel Vision’ after the jump…

Is ‘Tunnel Vision’ the “right” single choice?

Your thoughts?

A radio Edit in iTunes should follow just like what happened with “mirrors” because maaaaan……. 6:47 tracks is not for the radio.

I am not crazy about this era’s artwork , like at all.

wish he consider releasing ” let the groove get in” or “don’t hold the wall” as Promo/buzz/official Singles.

the artwork stays true the idea of vision and the eyes, so in a conceptual sense, it definitely works. Him and timbo are magic together but this sounds like something ginuwine would have recorded 15 years ago.

I love that f****** song, ‘Don’t Hold the wall’ and ‘Let the Groove Get In’ should be singles too.

    • dee June 10, 2013

Agreed….Let the Groove Get In should the be next single.

  3. Lovebird June 10, 2013

He needs to properly apologize to Janet Jackson, instead of his shady move of throwing her under the bus, running like a p**** and playing the victim. We haven’t forgotten Mr Timberlake.

    • S****** Blonde June 10, 2013

It was all planned darling, Janet wanted to pull off a Madonna-esque but it didn’t work for her.

    • Oh Yeah!!! June 11, 2013

I agree! I dont think it was a publicity stunt! That Stunt ended Janet’s career!

    • JER June 11, 2013

that tired dust ass 2004 s***

    • Stav June 11, 2013

Bozo, you need to properly apologize for bringing up a completely-irrelevant-to-the-conversation event from damn near 10 years ago for the sake of stirring up tired discussion drama. Presidents have changed since then, most people don’t care anymore. I know you don’t have much else to do, but get over it.

Don’t mind Lovebird. The only thrill that rabies infested pigeon with no life gets is making stupid, muck racking comments here at TGJ. Pity her. She’s a loser, isn’t doing anything, has nothing going on, no friends and is most likely hideous looking behind the screen.

Love the cover.BTW could do without the back handed compliments SAM. Sorry that ur in the minority that doesn’t like the song or album. Get over it.

  5. Jayla June 10, 2013

LOVE THIS SONG! YES I AM LOVING THE SINGLE CHOICES FROM THIS ALBUM!

  6. Mark111 June 10, 2013

Favorite off the album. One of the 5 songs I like, the rest are ok to bad.

  7. JER June 10, 2013

Now i KNOW he didn’t release this over Pusher Love Girl, Let the Groove Get In, and Hold the Wall. SMH. This isnt going to do anything

  8. ENOUGH ONIKA (KMART QUEEN) June 10, 2013

He still promoting this over-hyped mess of an album? Boring album, move on to part two already and actually BRING it this time…We already have Robin Thicke so no thank you to a knock off version…

    • JER June 11, 2013

How is Justin Timberlake a knockoff of Robin Thicke?? Grrrrrl DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I suppose Madonna is a knockoff of Lady Gaga too huh? I’d offer you a seat but you seem comfortably reclined already. BYE

      • ENOUGH ONIKA (KMART QUEEN) June 11, 2013

Just being out first doesn’t mean anything. His style was POP not R&B/soul like Robin. This album was no different than a Robin album, nothing new or innovative. Boring at that. So you can take my so called reclined chair and shove it up that loose booty of yours…

  9. Mycatisfat June 11, 2013

This song is weak, like the majority of his over hyped album. Forgettable, will make no real impact. Next.

  10. danny b June 11, 2013

you’ve GOT to be kidding me? I love this whole album but honestly this is the one song I kind of skip. I cant believe he’s choosing this over Pusher Love Girl or Strawberry Bubblegum?!!??!? Those two would sure nuff be to.p 3 hits and they bring something different to the charts right now. Tunnel Vision is SOOOOOOOO dated a la Future/S** era.. At the end of the day Im rooting for JT but I just get so frustrate when my favs don’t give the right single treatment to the best choice of songs (see End Of Time).

  11. MyPenIzFresh June 11, 2013

I enjoy Tunnel Vision, but I was hoping for Pusher Love or Don’t Hold The Wall. I’m hoping we get some classic JT moves like ‘My Love’. This was a great cd, not as Epic as everyone made it out to be, but great none the less. I still play it often, but secretly i’ll always ride hard for ‘That Girl’

  12. JMac910 June 11, 2013

    Spaceship Coupe.

  13. Ty June 12, 2013

Tunnel vision and strawberry bubblegum are the classic hits off the cd
