iHeartRadio OnDemand played host to exclusive plays of the scorching new tracks aboard Kelly Rowland’s fourth solo LP ‘Talk A Good Game’. While fans are still bumping ‘Ice’ and its follow-ups ‘Kisses Down Low’ and ‘Dirty Laundry’, Rowland rolls out her hip hop heavy features including ‘Gone’ with Wiz Khalifa and now ‘Street Life’ featuring Pusha T.
As the latter got a live unveiling in Little Rock, Arkansas less than two weeks ago, now its glossy studio version has made its way to the net. Click below to get your first listen:
“Street Life” featuring Pusha T (Prod. by Pharrell)
Yes, yes, and yes!
As keen lovers of the cut’s “live” incarnation, it’s warming to hear the song translate so well in a mixed and mastered context.
From the lush throwback production, to the lyrics which legitimately and refreshingly “keep it real”, Ms. Kelly is onto a winner with this one. Indeed, with ‘Street Life’ the Destiny’s Child diva proves that her project lives up to its title in more than a sensual manner (‘Kisses Down Low’) and beyond the dramatic ‘Dirty Laundry’.
An album-seller of a track if we’ve heard one!
‘Talk A Good Game’ hits stores on June 18th.
