Enlisting Hip Hop’s best and brightest to aid him, it’s abundantly clear ‘Hot In Herre’ hitmaker Nelly is playing approximately no games when it comes to his comeback album ‘M.O.’.
Calling on the likes of Trey Songz, T.I., Wiz Khalifa, and Nelly Furtado to name a few, the album’s newest offering sees assistance from rapstress Nicki Minaj and superproducer Pharrell.
Titled ‘Get Like Me’, the track comes as co-star Nicki Minaj’s latest entry on an already extensive collabo resume (see: Ciara, Mario, Wale). Is this the best of the bunch? You tell us below:

Alright now Nelly! Let’s first applaud the ‘Pimp Juice’ performer for turning the volume down on his oft-ridiculed “sing-rapping”. While we recognize that’s his signature style, it doesn’t exactly find welcome on every track – this Pharrell produced gem is evidence of such.
Reminiscent of Neptunes’ early 2000 offerings, this track definitely takes us back to a time when Pharrell’s and co.’s productions were on every other song on the radio (regardless of genre). With Minaj’s cool flow in tow, here’s hoping this is one of many tracks that bring both Nell and Pharrell back to the respect they once knew.
Tidbit: Hate her or love her, Nicki always shines as a feature. But, with ‘American Idol’ behind her, is the old Nicki creeping back?
