As a gifted rapper, Drake often finds favour around these sides. However, on occasion, the Canadian MC does some very “Drake” things which leave us scratching our heads.
Case, point, his new Ovo video which features him drinking a shot from a coveted Grammy Award.
The footage shows the Young Money star receiving a gong for Best Rap Album (2012) for his sophomore effort ‘Take Care’; unable to contain his excitement, the 26-year-old uses it in a way we doubt those vying for similar recognition would smile at.

Forgive us for not seeing the humor here, but this is an ultimate no-no. Any other award, fair enough, but using a symbol of the music industry’s highest honor in such a manner…on camera…and then releasing it yourself. No bueno.
Here’s hoping Drake’s new album ‘Nothing Was The Same’ (due September 17th) lives up to its billing in more way than one.
