A number of intimate settings will play host to the ‘Lip Lock’ tour, to be put on by rapper/actress Eve it has emerged today.
All the details below…
On August 26th 2013, the seasoned entertainer will kick start the stage show at Washington’s Howard Theatre, birthed to celebrate the release of its supporting album of the same name
Following this performance, the star will embark on seven additional nights to complete the stage show, which will end in Colorado’s Aspen at ‘Belly Up’ venue, which will welcome Country icon LeAnn Rimes for a performance on August 10th.
‘Lip Lock’Tour Dates:
Aug. 26 – Washington, D.C. – Howard Theatre
Aug. 28 – New York, NY – Irving Plaza
Aug. 31 – Detroit, MI – Chene Park
Sept. 1 – Minneapolis, MN – Epic
Sept. 5 – Los Angeles, CA – The Roxy
Sept. 6 – Oakland, CA – Grand Live
Sept. 7 – Denver, CO – Radio Show – TBA
Sept. 8 – Aspen, CO – Belly Up
A testament to Eve’s determination to push the album, there’s no doubt this tour will restore her positioning as one of her genre’s most competent live acts, and see her make serious bank- if more dates are added and production costs are kept as low as possible.
For, while ‘Lip Lock’ needed a major label machine to secure it the roll out it deserved, the absence of a label will see the profits made from this tour be Eve’s and Eve’s alone, sure to prove that a commercially unsuccessful era does not always mean a commercially unsuccessful era.
With tickets going on sale tomorrow, we have no doubt they’ll be snapped up in no time, and hopefully encourage Eve to mask the scent of ‘Lock’s chart shortcomings with the wins she’ll no doubt score on this tour!
GO EVE! 🙂 🙂

F*** IT UPPPP
8K FIRST WEEK NOW A US TOUR? SLAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!
I really doubt anyone will show up if it’s ‘Lip Lock’ material she’s planning to perform.
Still respect her for not quitting though, Missy practically vanished after that last single.
What is a stage tour? Don’t all tours have stages? And most female rappers (besides Nicki) aren’t doing arenas so I won’t shade. Not even Lil Kim during her prime toured worldwide solo *shrug*
Neither did Ciara. Nor will she ever.
U PEOPLE GIVES ME LIFE WHILE IA M AT WORK-THESE COMMENTS HAVE ME ROLLING @ MY DESK-LORD JESUS! I commend EVE, I do., & LEAVE CIARA ALONE, HER CD IS GOOD & SHE STILL SLAYS A STAGE, IDK what happened 2 her fans tho- 🙁
FAF, you diry b****! You ain’t about to drag no damn body. That s*** was for pre sale at 7.99 and full price for 9.99. That s*** has been certified tissue! She wish her ass can get up on a 360 deal. And some of the top acts are signed to a 360 deal (see Jay-Z and Madonna!).
I will go if the tickets are $20 or less…. Keep it cute eve. I respect her grind tho… Plus eve ain’t hurting for money!
GO EVE!! F*** haters…..I like dat she keeps pushin this album and not giving up on it. She promised her fans a tour and she’s givin it to them. Sum ppl may clown her low album sales, but she has to rebuild her fanbase fom takin a long hiatus and she knws dat……so good on her part for keepin her face out there. I think she’s doing pretty good on her promo as a indie artist I just wished she performed her singles more on the televised shows instead of giving interviews. I hope she add more dates like Atlanta and her hometown philly to dat tour.
