As he joins Keri Hilson in anticipating the release of her own new album, Timbaland has whipped up a frenzy for Nas‘ forthcoming effort today, by announcing a collab between himself, Justin Timberlake and Jay Z!
Full story below…
Pulling from Frank Sinatra‘s 1966 live album, ‘Sinatra at the Sands’, this new collab has been billed ‘Sinatra in the Sands’, announced during an interview given by Timbo to Diddy’s ‘Revolt‘.
He revealed:
“I told Jay this, the person that gets me from hip-hop now, their album is really gonna be phenomenal, and that’s Nas. Nas got a song right now with him, Jay, and Justin, and it’s completely stupid. It’s called ‘Sinatra in the Sands’ and Justin sounds like Frank Sinatra.”
The release of this track will follow the Def Jam fuelled ‘Life Is Good‘, the eleventh studio album from the ‘The Firm’ MC, debuting with 149,000 units in release week last July.
Its launch also comes after the trio were snapped in the studio together weeks ago, teasing what we now know to be a new collaborative effort between themselves.
