Last December, fans of ‘I Run Away’ singer Britney Spears landed fresh details on her new album, when ‘Vendetta’ star Elijah Blake revealed that he had been enlisted to help craft it…and shared it’d be her most personal release to date.
Now, in echoing those sentiments, the man behind Madonna‘s ‘Ray of Light’ (William Orbit) has poured fresh details on the hotly anticipated release, revealing that it’ll be void of auto-tune and packed with ‘great singing’.
More below…
Responsible for creating many an Adult Contemporary hit, Orbit said of his work on Britney’s eighth studio release:
As digits generated by ‘Scream & Shout‘ prove, Britney has no problem shifting singles.
What we’re most interested in, is how the writers and producers called on to make the album find a balance between the personal and the commercial- and how much control Orbit is really being given to create masterpieces for her. For that’s what they’ll be…masterpieces.
Truth be told, with Max Martin and Dr.Luke merely a phone call away, there’s no doubt she’ll have little trouble picking up a few hit singles but the LP’s real glory will lie in its other material.
This, especially if she’s given the chance to use her lower register, and compensate for the lack of auto-tune with harmonies and layering!
