Posing it up on the set of Mike‘s forthcoming ‘23′ video, the foursome got to work shortly after Cyrus made headlines following her VMA 2013 performance, but it emerged her father – country singer Billy Ray Cyrus– stands on the advisory board of the Parents Television Council.
Important, as its this very council that’s launched a scathing attack on his daughter’s on stage antics, slamming MTV for ‘substituting talent with sex‘.

In a statement issued by the Billy Ray backed PTC, the organisation told MTV:
“This much is absolutely clear: MTV marketed adults-only material to children while falsely manipulating the content rating to make parents think the content was safe for their children. MTV continues to sexually exploit young women by promoting acts that incorporate ‘twerking’ [a sexually-suggestive dance] in a nude-coloured bikini. How is this image of former child star Miley Cyrus appropriate for 14-year-olds?”
Their letter comes arm in arm with criticism thrown by the actress Brooke Shields, who played Miley’s mother during a brief stint on Disney’s ‘Hannah Montana‘.
